Tsunetomo served under Sensei Yoru at a secret ninja training dojo. He was one of Bruce Wayne's ninjutsu teachers.

Several years later Tsunetomo would join the Yakuza which brought him into conflict with Batman. During one of their battles Tsunetomo accidently died.
