History[]
One night while Bruce Wayne was attending a charity event hosted by his friend, Jeremy Samuels, Philo Zeiss attempted to assassinate him. However, Samuels noticed the laser on Bruce's chest and pushed him out of the way before Zeiss could pull the trigger. Zeiss instead shot Samuels who sacrificed himself to save Bruce Wayne.
