Roman Sionis a.k.a. Black Mask was Gotham's biggest crime lord who came to power after the fall of Lew Moxon and he is also the CEO of Janus Cosmetics. He is voiced by Robert Davi.

Rise to power[]
A year after Lew Moxon's death Black Mask took over his criminal empire and began to run the Gotham City underworld. Black Mask was just as ruthless if not more so than Moxon himself. Black Mask wasted no time attempting to kill Batman and lured him into a trap at the Gotham City Mall. There Black Mask was holding hostages and planned to kill Batman in an explosion. Batman was able to take Black Mask down but Black Mask said that unless he released him he would detonate a bomb and kill the hostages. The Dark Knight was forced to let Black Mask go in order to save the hostages.

- Black Mask is the main antagonist of season two.
- Unlike Lew Moxon who manipulated things from behind the scenes Black Mask was much more proactive and even fought Batman on several occasions.
- Aside from Janus Cosmetics, Roman Sionis also owns two subsidiary companies called Sionis Industries and the Sionis Meat Packing Company.
